Rock Climbing
Climbing runs on a Tuesday evening after prep and on a Sunday afternoon. A qualified instructor is always present to ensure that everyone is safe, but once you are confident with the equipment you are allowed to join up with whoever you like and climb what you like. The walls vary in difficulty, and climbs can be top-roped or lead climbed. Most people start off gently with some normal or single colour climbs, but things always become competitive, which means people encourage each other to push their boundaries and also leads to timing each other and completing climbs in the fewest moves. This makes for an interesting spectacle as people scrabble up some of the harder moves! Metalwork, shoes and harnesses are provided, but use of your own equipment is allowed.
