How to Apply
By joining Welbeck you will become part of a focused and purposeful group of individuals who see the College as the foundation for their future careers as engineers within the Military and Defence community.
The College selects approximately 185 students each year. All of the students join us in the first year of their A-Level studies.
Most students (approximately 90%) are Ministry of Defence (MOD) funded students. These students apply via their sponsoring service, ie. Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force or Civil Service Defence Engineering and Science Group (DESG).
The remaining students are Welbeck Private Scheme (WPS) students. These are independently financed and follow the same curriculum, rules and regulations as MOD students, but do not have to go on to the Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme (DTUS) and follow a military or civil service career.
