Air Experience Flying (October 2008)

Welbeck offers students the opportunity to fly with RAF Cranwell’s Air Experience Flight, or AEF for a day. Students are taken up by both serving and retired flight instructors and can either learn some of the specifics of flying to go towards gaining their private pilot’s licence or simply have some fun with aerobatics, depending on whether you want to enjoy the scenery or have some fun at 5000 feet in the sky. If you’ve flown before, the instructors may even let you do all the flying, which can increase the fun of flying immensely.
