Catering Assistant - Full Time

(one year fixed term contract with possible extension until July 2021)

Hours: 38.75 per week, 39 weeks per year, 5 days from 7 which includes weekends on a rota basis.

Outline Job Description: To work within the soft services at the college. This role will be predominately catering with extra duties within retail and elsewhere in the college as required. Providing the highest level of customer service within your areas of responsibility in line with Interserve’s centre of excellence specification, the areas will include all catering activities within the college, and other duties as directed by your line manager to meet the requirements of the contract’s  Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

Reporting to: Catering Manager

Key Skills:

  • Retail qualifications or previous retail experience, Food Hygiene Level 2 are desirable although full training will be given.
  • Must be motivated and enthusiastic with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be flexible in outlook as the work is varied and could be at any location within the college or student accommodation

Housekeeping Role 2 - Zero Hours College Cleaner

Hours: As and when required

Outline Job Description: Providing the highest level of housekeeping service within your areas of responsibility in line with Interserve’s centre of excellence specification, the areas would include all cleaning activities within the college, sports pavilion, security lodge and student accommodation houses to meet the requirements of the contract’s  Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

Reporting to: Cleaning Supervisor

  • Ability to work as part of a team
