Maintenance Administrator

Hours: 8:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 - 16:00 on Friday

Outline Job Description: Providing administrative support to maintain the upkeep of the planned and unplanned maintenance system (Ultrasys). Assisting the Maintenance Team, Maintenance Manager and Operations manager with their day to day tasks. Takes responsibility for specific projects and tasks and, in some cases, oversee set projects. Responsible for raising purchase orders with third party suppliers.

Soft Services Assistant

Hours: 38.75 per week, 39 weeks per year, 5 days from 7 which includes weekends on a rota basis.

Outline Job Description: To work within the soft services at the college. This role will be predominately catering with extra duties within retail and housekeeping as required. Providing the highest level of customer service within your areas of responsibility in line with Interserve’s centre of excellence specification, the areas will include all catering activities within the college, and other duties as directed by your line manager to meet the requirements of the contract’s  Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

Reporting to: Catering Manager

Key Skills:

  • Retail qualifications or previous retail experience, Food Hygiene Level 2 are desirable although full training will be given.
  • Must be motivated and enthusiastic with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be flexible in outlook as the work is varied and could be at any location within the college or student accommodation

Housekeeping Role 1 - Full Time College Cleaner

Hours: 37.5 per week (including occasional weekends as and when required on a rota basis), 39 weeks per year.

Outline Job Description: Providing the highest level of housekeeping service within your areas of responsibility in line with Interserve’s centre of excellence specification, the areas would include all cleaning activities within the college, sports pavilion, security lodge and student accommodation houses to meet the requirements of the contract’s  Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

Reporting to: Cleaning Supervisor

Key Skills:

  • Must be motivated and enthusiastic with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be flexible in outlook as the work is varied and could be at any location within the college or student accommodation
  • There will be occasional occasions when additional overtime and working weekends may be required to meet operational needs

Facilities Supervisor

Hours: Part time - 15 - 18.75 hours per week (52 weeks per year), 4- 5 evenings per week.

Reporting To: College Support Manager and then the Director of Operations

Start Date: As soon as possible

Package: £10 per hour. 25 days holiday per year pro rate plus Statutory Holidays. Contributory pension scheme and life assurance. Non residential.

Job Description: 

The Facilities Supervisor will provide on site supervision of facilities at Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College out of normal working hours in order to oversee third party and student usage. This is a permanent part-time role including when the College is on recess. The post holder will act as the initial point of contact while on site for third party matters. Lifeguard

Description: The primary responsibility of the Lifeguard is to assist in the running and administration of the College Swimming Pool.

Reporting To: College Manager

Specific Duties:

  • To be responsible for the lifeguard role when required either for College or Third Party use.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duty related to the job purpose required from time to time by the College Manager.

General Duties:

  • To be responsible for your own welfare by following the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and other related policies such as Equal Opportunities, Harassment, Disability and Data Protection etc.

Hours and Salary: This is a zero hours contract and we offer a competitive salary.
