Hours: Full-time, up to 40 hrs p/week spread over 6 days, Mon-Sat Term Time only (34 weeks per year) 

Reporting To: Head of Physics

Job Description: The primary responsibility of the Physics Teacher is to deliver Physics to AS and A2 Level students.

Role Requirements:

Essential:

  • Relevant Degree
  • QTS qualification, NQT teacher of Physics will be considered
  • Sound knowledge of relevant subject area
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office applications and with Management Information Systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of boarding education
  • Qualification to coach a sport
  • Ability to assist with outdoor Pursuits

Catering Assistant 1

Hours: 38.75 hours per week, 35 weeks a year, working 5 days from 7.

Reporting To: Catering Manager

Outline Job Description: To provide catering assistance in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages within the catering and retail operations at Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College. Working as part of a busy team to provide healthy balanced meals for the customers in a pleasant inviting environment.

Key Skills:

  • Must be motivated and enthusiastic with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Food Hygiene certificate would be advantageous, although full training will be available.
